Restorative Outcomes And Resilence
Increasing well-being and resilience in staff teams

Having worked individually with an approach called Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR) and seeing transformative change in peoples' resilience and well-being ROAR was born out of wanting to see this change in larger groups and teams of people in need.
Many industries from journalism, sports and medicine can have high pressure, high stress and high rates of burnout.
People do not need to carry past and present distress and yet they often do not get the space or support to smooth this out.

We know the negative impact of poor mental health in the workplace and the wide reaching impact when people develop greater resilience and restorative outcomes.
Having worked in leadership through the pandemic Dr Isabel Battye and Dr Naomi Filio were responsible for prioritising wellbeing of the clinical staff through supervision, training and remote general support.

GTEP stands for Group Traumatic Episode Protocol and is the name given to the stand alone 3 hour group protocol that can be used with groups of up to 10 people. The ROAR website has a Resources page of current evidence for GTEP.
